Meet Mr Jig Patel, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Shirley Oaks Hospital.

Mr Patel specialises in all Knee and Hip disorders as well as fractures and trauma. He graduated from Southampton University Medical School in 1991, and subsequently completed his Orthopaedic surgical training.

He also received an amazing opportunity and spent a year long fellowship in Ontario, Canada, specialising in Hip & Knee surgery.

BMI Shirley Oaks Hospital is a private hospital located in Shirley Village close to the Croydon city centre. Our hospital team is dedicated to providing you with supportive treatment and recovery in comfortable surroundings.

Our facilities: We have 27 inpatient bedrooms, 10 consulting rooms three theatres (one with laminar flow), a JAG accredited endoscopy suite, ambulatory care unit and imaging services (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound). We provide services for Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Men’s Health, physiotherapy, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Cardiology and breast screening clinics.
