We’re really proud to share that A Safe Space to be Me has been awarded Department of Health “Support While Waiting” funding to deliver:
🧠 FREE ADHD support for adults across Northern Ireland
We know how hard it is to be waiting for ADHD support.
The overwhelm.
The burnout.
The constant effort just to get through the day, without the right help in place.
👉 You’re not alone in this.
This programme is for people who are:
✔ waiting for an ADHD assessment
✔ trying to access support
✔ struggling with day-to-day functioning while they wait
💡 What this support will offer:
✔ Practical strategies that actually work in real life
✔ Support with overwhelm, burnout & emotional regulation
✔ Better understanding of how your brain works
✔ A space that is neuroaffirming, flexible, and not overwhelming
📍 We want to reach people where they are
We’re now looking to partner with organisations, groups, and services across each Trust area who may be interested in:
👉 Hosting one of these workshops in their local area
👉 Supporting access for people on ADHD waiting lists
If this sounds like something your organisation could support (or you know a group who might), we’d love to hear from you.
