I’m truly honoured to have been invited to speak in London on 4th June at the Align Smile CoLab. 🤍

I’ll be sharing some of my experiences in specialist orthodontics, alongside case insights and thoughts on how digital innovation is continuing to shape the way we approach treatment and patient care.

Still reflecting on an incredible few days at the Invisalign EMEA Summit in Barcelona. 🇪🇸

I felt truly honoured to be part of an event centred around clinical excellence, innovation and collaboration - surrounded by so many inspiring clinicians from across the world.

So many special moments, new connections and familiar faces, all brought together by a shared passion for progressing our profession. 🤍

And a milestone I’m incredibly proud of… officially being able to call myself an international speaker!

Grateful, inspired and already looking forward to what’s next. ✨

Top Tip Tuesday 💡

One of the biggest challenges with aligner treatment is achieving predictable space closure - especially when things don’t track exactly as planned 👀

A simple technique like “fake IPR” can make a huge difference when it comes to improving control, optimising tracking and helping cases finish more predictably. Sometimes the smallest tweaks are the ones that completely change the outcome. 🤍

Quiet bank holiday weekend… or so I thought 😅

A mix of chilling at home, frozen yoghurt stops, park run, netball, Rock-Up adventures… and squeezing in the final prep for my London Invisalign presentation (just 3 weeks after Barcelona 👀)

Somewhere in between all that - we finally sold our house after a rollercoaster 11 months 🎉
…and Isaac managed to fracture his finger taking a cricket catch 🫠🏏

Wouldn’t have it any other way though - a little bit of everything! 💛

Amalie’s smile journey 👀🦷

With Invisalign First, we didn’t have to wait for all her baby teeth to come out - we were able to start early and guide her smile as she grows.

Amalie and her parents wanted to get ahead of things and build her confidence before starting secondary school… and that’s exactly what we’ve done 😃✨

Early treatment can make such a difference - not just to alignment, but to confidence at such an important stage.

Family day out… but make it The Traitors 👀

We headed to the live experience and safe to say - we’re all huge fans 😅

Dan was the first to be murdered… I followed shortly after (so not our finest performance 😂) and we didn’t quite make it to the Turret like the kids did!

BUT - very proud parent moment… 💪🏻
Sienna (our Traitor) made it all the way to the final 4 🌟
And Isaac (Faithful through and through) made it to the last 2… and WON 🏆

Safe to say the kids carried us on this one 😅👏

Mason’s transformation 👀🦷

Not just a change in alignment - we also improved his bite and overall function.

He started with a deep bite where his lower teeth were less visible when biting together, and through Invisalign with elastics, we achieved a much healthier, more balanced result ✨

A great example of how orthodontics is about more than just straight teeth - it’s about comfort, function, and long-term stability too.

James’ smile transformation didn’t just focus on aesthetics - it was designed to improve function too. 🤍

By using Invisalign with mandibular advancement, we were able to correct his jaw position while enhancing his smile at the same time. What would traditionally require two separate stages can now be achieved in one streamlined, more comfortable treatment.

Timing is everything when it comes to orthodontic treatment 👀

We started James’s Invisalign treatment with mandibular advancement right as he entered his growth spurt - a key moment that allowed us to guide jaw development as well as align the teeth.

Getting that timing right can make a huge difference to the final result. Not just straighter teeth, but improved balance, lip position, and overall facial profile.

A great example of how orthodontics is about so much more than just a smile 🦷
