Our residents have been super busy making Holly Wreaths and to raise money for or comfort fund we are now offering these for a donation of £18.00 each. We have quite a few so please keep us in mind when it’s time to buy your holly wreath!

This week we also had Deskford and Cullen Church of Scotland in and we all enjoyed the service and the message on St Andrews.
We also had the fabulous Ron Black in for an afternoon of favourite songs.

How is it Friday already! So much going on this week, we had story time and then did some art work with the Welly Walkers Childminding Family. Always a hit with our residents .

So yesterday we put our creative heads on and held a Holly Wreath workshop, I can’t even begin to describe the chaos this involved as the green foliage started to take over the tables and floor. We sang Christmas songs , we laughed, we chatted and shared stories. What a great time we all had!
We are selling the wreaths with all money going into our comfort fund.

We had an absolutely brilliant afternoon all thanks to Gerry and his Pacemaker. We sang, we danced and we smiled!

On Armistice Day, we join people around the world in remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the pursuit of peace.

At 11am, we will fall silent to reflect on their courage - and to honour the veterans among us whose service reminds us of the true cost of freedom.

It might have been a dreich day but there was a lot of warm welcome at the pensioners club at the church hall this afternoon. Morag and Brian both tried the raffle but were unlucky, but they were winners listening to the music with fine company.

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
We will remember them. ❤️🌺

We also honour those in our care who served with pride and distinction — their service continues to inspire us all.
