Absolutely delighted to be part of this community event again this year!

Our staff have just set up our tree and all the entries look fantastic - there is definitely a sprinkle of Christmas magic!

The Community Christmas Tree Festival, Whitley Bay, Monkseaton & Cullercoats opens on Thursday 11th at 3pm St Paul's Parish Church Whitley Bay with the Official Lights on at 4pm and we are so pleased that Ann Cleeves has agreed to open this amazing community event.
We hope to see you over the weekend. It is Free but if you would like to bring a donation for the The Bay Foodbank we have collection points in the church.

🗣️ Have your say on gluten-free prescriptions

The NHS in the North East and North Cumbria is asking for your views on a proposal to stop prescribing gluten-free bread, rolls, and flour mixes.

These are the only gluten-free items currently available on prescription, and no decisions have been made yet.

Huge congratulations to Cullercoats WI for organising such a fab event. We popped down for the carol service yesterday - it was so festive and great to see so many amazing trees.

We are already thinking about next years entry!
