Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing that is suitable for use on everyone I started doing Reiki in January 2016, when I did my Level One Course. A number of months later I went on to do my Level Two Practitioner course, I wanted to let other people feel the benefits of Reiki. I work from one of the rooms in my home, the energy is lovely and perfect for doing Reiki Healing. A Reiki treatment last for about an hour and is carried out fully clothed, and usually lying on a massage table, but can be done on a chair. The person carrying out the treatment gently lays her hands on the recipients body and channels healing energy. The treatment usually feels like a warm glowing radiance that flows through the body. Reiki is effective in helping virtually every known illness and always creates a beneficial effect. It can be used alongside all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Reiki treats the whole person - body, emotions, mind and spirit and it gives a deep sense of relaxation, peacefulness, security and wellbeing.
