Last session for Nathalie today 💛 Nathalie is an Art History student who just graduated from the University of St Andrews two weeks ago. She’s been coming to see me since her second year for general wellbeing support during study and exam time. Massage and acupuncture always helped her feel more grounded and relaxed.

Today is her last day in St Andrews, and I’ve truly enjoyed being part of her self-care routine over the years. It’s been a lovely connection to hold space for.

It’s graduation week at the University of St Andrews 🎓 and I’ve been feeling so proud (and a bit emotional!) seeing so many of my clients reach this huge milestone.

Today, Melissa who just graduated in International Relations came in to say goodbye. I’ve been treating her for a sports injury, and she’s now feeling much better and ready for her next chapter 💪

It’s always such a privilege to support students during their time here.

Happy Thai New Year!
This week in Thailand, we’re celebrating Songkran — the traditional New Year and famous water festival. My friends and I got together last weekend for an early celebration, hosted by Cookin Thai. So much delicious food (and pudding, of course)!

It has been 7 years today!
My husband said it feels longer than that😂

We went through the rain and snow to have a celebration meal at Sushi Samba in Edinburgh on Saturday. We needed to change our plans slightly because of the weather, and diverted to Inverkeithing to get the train for the final leg of the journey. But we got to see Edinburgh covered in snow, it was so magical❄️☃️

Hi there. I would like to introduce my new colleague, Rose. There is high demand for massage treatment and sometimes I can’t take a client who needs to see a physio urgently.

It took me quite sometime to make this decision since I am very particular about finding the right therapist. I always think it is hard to find not just a good massage therapist but the right person to work with too.

When I interviewed Rose and after she gave me a massage, I thought she would be someone who I can work with happily.
She is able to provide nice, firm pressure on the exact spots where I need but not too painful, which I like. We both have a free spirit, love food and love travelling.

Rose will help me look after therapeutic deep tissue massage services. She has just moved from Australia and has previous wellness and massage experience. I have also provided some training for her to be able to deliver a similar massage style to me, but still keep her own unique techniques. She will be available on Sunday, Monday and Friday.

Rose used to see a massage therapist regularly and she loves sports which helped her develop her skill for massage. For me it is important to get massages and learn from other therapists.

As an introductory offer for everyone who follows my page, I have a special price of £55 per hour for the Month of May.

She will be great for anyone who has chronic back, neck and shoulder pain. But if you have severe pain at the acute stage please book under physiotherapy with me.

I started grinding my teeth when I moved to Oman. Even though I wore a mouthguard I managed to break it. I always felt like I held tension in front of my ears, but didn’t realise that the hidden stress I had could appear at night.

When I explored TMJ (Jaw massage) from my mentor, the owner of Marchmont Physiotherapy in Edinburgh, I realised how much my jaw tension related to my neck and shoulder pain. And not just that, it can affect hip pain too!

If you are experiencing headaches, tinnitus, and/or bruxism, this treatment is for you.

The treatment is a whole body massage that finishes with an intra oral massage, which involves inserting a finger into the mouth and massaging the jaw muscles. The final stage is a head and scalp massage. This will give you jaw tension relief that you have never felt before!
