In some cases, signs can develop hours or days after an injury, so it's important to stay vigilant.

Watch out for delayed symptoms such as:

• Persistent headaches
• Confusion or disorientation
• Memory difficulties
• Mood changes
• Trouble concentrating

Early awareness can help ensure the right care is given at the right time.

Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

This week is a reminder that you are not alone, and the right support can make a difference. Mental Health problems are more common than people realise and taking small steps can have a big impact.

So, what are some actions you can take today to help your mental health?

1. Stay connected – a quick check in with someone you trust can really help!
2. Be kind to yourself.
3. Rest and switch off – take regular breaks and prioritise sleep.
4. Ask for help when you need it.
5. Move your body – a little stretch or a quick walk outside can help to reduce stress.
6. Talk about how you’re feeling.

This is your reminder that it’s ok to:

• Ask for help.
• Take breaks.
• Pause and reset.

Which of these actions will you try this week? Let us know in the comments, you never know who you might inspire.

Happy Earth Day! 🌏

• Go plastic free for a day (or longer if you can!)

Every action counts - together, we can protect our planet. 💚

What’s one small change you will be making?

Happy World Health Day!

This year’s theme is ‘Together for health. Stand with science’.

Science is at the heart of healthier lives. Without it, tackling challenges like cancer, infections, and diseases wouldn’t be possible.

These are just a few examples of how science has transformed healthcare:

- Penicillin and antibiotics to treat infections
- Vaccines to prevent infections and disease
- Medical imaging to assess conditions in the body

Understanding these challenges through science helps to shape the way we prevent, diagnose, and treat illness every day.

What scientific breakthrough has helped you and your health?
