This Tuesdays Hatha Yoga class is all about building a strong foundation.
We will focus on the first principle for standing poses working on the toes, feet and ankles exploring how grounding through the four corners of the feet engage the muscles in the legs to build that strong base for poses such as wide leg forward fold, Side angle, Triangle and Tree pose.
Everyone is welcome to join us on the mat this Tuesday 6-7pm in the function room at the Howe Rugby Club in Cupar, no previous yoga experience is required and more experienced yogis will also enjoy this class.

September 2026 All Inclusive Yoga Retreat
🙏🧘‍♀️

We will be staying in a beautiful converted Villa nestled in the stunning area of Esterla Montes (Star Mountains) in Portugal, just a short drive form Faro airport and the nearest beaches.
The Villa sits alone in 7000sqm of land with a roof terrace boasting a breathtaking 360' view of the mountains.

Dates are Thursday the 10th to Tuesday the 15th September 2026
5 nights to relax, recharge, eat freshly prepared food, soak up the sun and of course do some yoga, escaping from the chores of everyday life.

Costs are £700 per person on a shared basis or £1300.00 for single occupancy. I'm asking for a deposit of £175.00 to secure your booking and thereafter either two more installments in March and August or you can pay the remaining amount monthly.

You will enjoy a two course brunch each day and dinner every evening (one night we will head to a local restaurant) all soft drinks, teas coffee,snacks and fruits will be made available for you to help yourself too
The Villa has spacious accommodation, a private outdoor pool and a roof terrace to meditate, read or sunbathe. Obviously there will also be yoga classes each day, Hatha, Restorative, Yin and Nidra (all optional) and a welcome gift 🎁

Flights are not included, but from what I found there are direct flights from Edinburgh for around £250.00 including 10kg of luggage. Transfers to and from the villa can be arranged at very reasonable cost.
Alcohol is also not included but this can be organised at an extra cost.

There is also the possibility of bike hire to explore the local cycle routes, hiking, surfing and holistic therapy such a Reki.
