Wow 57 hours recovery after yesterday’s 4 mile XC.
Do you follow what your smart watch tells you?
As I’m running everyday I plan to do a short recovery run and see what it says then 🤣
I’m trying to progress my mileage from around 6-7 miles per week gradually. Last 6 days I’ve already done 10 miles
90 days since I fractured both my elbows and recovery is going well, need more stability, strength, stamina and mobility in my arms and upper body ❤️‍🩹

Day 4 💪🏻 Run every day

It’s nearly 3 months since I fractured both elbows near the end of the Roman Road run race. I’ve been doing my own personal rehab, yesterday I managed a very gentle slow swim, and last week on an indoor bike.

I’m trying to be sensible, but as up until 1st December I’ve been consistently running twice a week for the last 5 weeks and around 5km.

For me I have a big weekend:
Saturday I plan to do a 4 mile XC RACE
Sunday I’ve also entered a Phoenix Xmas jumper run, where you have a choice of as many laps of a 5.2km lap at your own pace.
Trying to get my daily steps up, but hopefully not overtraining
