Able is a not for profit company providing - day opportunties, support services, micro social enterprise, supported employement and education for adults with learning disabilities, neurodivergent conditions and complex health care needs.

Our Story

As a result of the Corona Virus Pandemic Able Radio has had to suspend our day service to protect our clients. We will open again as soon as possible, but in the meantime keep listening to your favourite radio station.

Able Radio was created to give a voice to people with learning disabilities/ASD. Into the second decade of broadcasting, this has expanded into training, using a media/creative environment to develop skills that change lives. Able is also the base for AbleTv, a channel featuring shows made by individuals with learning impairments.

Able also continues to work with hard to reach individuals and groups, schools and colleges. Their site in Cwmbran also has rooms available for hire.
