We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor back to here, Dora the Explorer, an anxiety therapy puppy. We first met Dora and her owner when they held a stall at our Christmas Market called Abbie’s Creations. After seeing how much everyone enjoyed meeting her, they kindly returned for a visit.

Animal visits have a way of changing the pace of the day. Sitting with Dora, stroking her or simply watching her move from chair to chair brought smiles, conversation and connection. Thank you for coming back to see us, Dora, you’re welcome any time. 🐾🐶

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️We spend the afternoon designing and painting our own cards. For some, it was about making something for a husband, wife or family member. For others, it was simply about enjoying the focus and calm that comes with sitting down to create.

We recently marked the Six Nations with a Wales Vs England game! For many of our family members, rugby has been part of life for decades, whether watching with family, listening on the radio, or following their home nation year after year.

There were lots of yummy cupcakes for everyone to enjoy, decorated in team colours. Moments like these aren’t about who won or lost. They’re about connection, about comfort, belonging and shared experiences that help people feel understood. 🏉❤️

We welcomed the fantastic Bois Y Bryn recently, filling our home with the plenty of smiles. We had people singing along, others tapping their feet or simply enjoying the atmosphere. Music like this has a way of bringing people together ! A big thank you to the group, It was a lovely afternoon ⚓🎵

We recently welcomed some very special visitors to Thistle Court.🦙 Tolly and Murphy, two alpacas from Bedrock Alpaca visits , came into the home to spend time with everyone. They moved gently through different areas, visiting people in their rooms as well as shared spaces, so the experience could be enjoyed by everyone.
