Lovely to see so many new people checking in with my page. I’ve been offline for a little while exploring some new and exciting projects that will help me to help you.
In a nutshell I help people to overcome anxiety, self doubt, procrastination, fear of failure (and success) so they can get on with doing what they do best, or very often, what they’ve always wanted to do but have never had the confidence to pursue.
This could be business, creative or personal.
So if you’re being held back and it’s time to spring forwards give me a call/text/email and we can arrange a chat.
Sessions are £120 and longer than most at 90 minutes which allows us to get more done 😊

As we look back this LGBT+ History Month, we can reflect that LGBTQIA+ mental health support is so much better than it was. But there's still progress to be made.

Let’s celebrate some of the amazing charities who have been leading the way in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and their mental health ⬇

The Proud Trust – supports LGBTQIA+ young people through youth groups, peer support, mentoring schemes and a webchat. https://www.theproudtrust.org/

LGBT Foundation – advice, support and information for people identifying as LGBT+. https://lgbt.foundation/

Mermaids UK supports transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse young people up to 18. Runs local groups, online courses and has a webchat. https://mermaidsuk.org.uk/

Stonewall – information and advice for LGBT+ people on a range of issues. https://stonewall.org.uk/

Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline - listening services, information and support for LGBT+ people. https://switchboard.lgbt/

Local Minds – some of our local minds offer dedicated services for those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Call our Infoline on 0300 123 3393

Do you ever wake up on a work morning and press snooze on the alarm because you’re tired, cosy and relaxed, so relaxed that you could easily fall back to sleep? Most of us know that feeling 😊
If you’re having trouble dropping off to sleep at night bring that feeling to mind, imagine that feeling of tired, so tired, cosy, and relax into it, allow yourself to drift off, luxuriating in the feeling of not needing to get up for many hours, change your thoughts, change your feelings, change the outcome 😘😴

A phobia is an intense irrational fear of an object, animal, or situation and can occur as a result of a traumatic experience. However the vast majority of people I see with phobias haven’t had a bad experience, very often the fear has been triggered by someone else’s trauma story, a film or the imagination (all of those what ifs!)

Why does this happen?

Think about a smoke detector… if there was really a fire you’d be grateful that the smoke detector was warning you of the danger, but it’s a bit of a pain when all you’ve done is burn the toast!

This is a little like our fight/flight response, great if we are being chased by a lion, not so good when we spot a spider, or a clown, or a dog, or we want to fly or swim etc.
Thankfully hypnotherapy can help to change your reaction to the triggers and, if there is a traumatic memory, there are effective techniques we can employ to lessen their emotional impact.
The most common phobia I have seen is emetophobia (fear of being sick) followed closely by flying phobia and claustrophobia.

If you or someone you know has a phobia they would like to discuss give me a call or text 07766 565896
Or for more info have a look at my website

Phobias A phobia is an intense irrational fear that has many variations. Phobias can be split into two main categories. Simple or specific phobias, which tend to be things like insects, dogs, or situations like flying and generally aren’t experienced on a daily basis. Complex or non-specific phobi...

The most common age group of children I helped as a hypnotherapist were 10 years old. If you could chat to your 10 year old self now, what would you say?
