Living with diabetes can feel exhausting, emotional and sometimes lonely. Managing your health, weight, energy levels and everyday life all at once isn’t always easy , and I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone.
There are two main types of diabetes:
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition where the body can’t produce insulin. It usually needs daily insulin treatment and regular blood sugar monitoring.
Type 2 diabetes happens when the body struggles to use insulin properly. It can be linked to weight, lifestyle, family history and other health factors.
At Slimming World, we focus on support, understanding and realistic changes that fit into everyday life. There are no fad diets, no judgement and no pressure to be perfect , just encouragement, healthier habits and a warm, welcoming group.
