🏏 Cricket may be a summer sport, but for Hornchurch, it’s truly a year-round commitment. At the heart of it all is our dedicated chairman, MBE Jeremy West, who bears the weight of the challenges, hard work, and even the stress that comes with the role. Hornchurch cricket club wouldn’t be the vibrant community it is without his unwavering dedication. 🏏

πŸ† The past three years have been incredibly busy, filled with trips to Spain for the European Cricket League and numerous finals and events that made Hornchurch Cricket Club shine. After celebrating victories in the national T20 competition and the T10 European competition, we couldn’t help but notice that there were still two trophies missing from Mr. West's cabinet. We’re thrilled to have secured the conference cup twice in the last 3 years after Yesterdays win, but the national one-day competition remains an elusive goal for Hornchurch.πŸ†

So what a fitting day to celebrate the success of our Golf Day and give out Β£29,000 to local charities.

Afternoon tea at the lovely Langdon Hills Golf and Country Club with representatives of 19 local charities.

We are so humbled by the hard work and kindness of the people who dedicate themselves to these wonderful charities.

St. Luke’s Hospice, Basildon, Changing Pathways, Thurrock Foodbank, Thurrock First Responders, BOSP, Thurrock & Brentwood Mind, The Indee Rose Trust, CHAPS, Thurrock Scout Playscheme, Treetops School, Papworth Trust, Peaceful Place, Wipe Away Those Tears, Basildon Hospital Radio, George’s Windmills, MCA Trust, Sycamore Trust Uk, Sugar Loaf and HAD (Havering Association for Disabled).
