Shiatsu is an effective, non-invasive therapy for managing anxiety by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, shifting the body from "fight or flight" to a "rest and digest" state. Using rhythmic, gentle pressure, it reduces physical tension, lowers heart rate, and boosts "feel-good" neurochemicals like dopamine and serotonin.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Shiatsu takes a holistic approach to wellbeing by nurturing the mind, body and spirit.

I am looking forward to supporting these upcoming events in Tayport and Kirkcaldy, organsied by Fife Voluntary Action. I will be offering mini seated shiatsu treatments on the day :-)

If you (or someone you know) looks after a friend, family member or neighbour, pop along and discover the support and services available locally. So many carers do not realise how much help is out there — and they leave feeling heard, appreciated and more hopeful.
