Today was all about reminiscing 💭

We enjoyed chatting about old-fashioned items, sharing memories and stories that brought lots of smiles. It’s amazing how familiar objects can spark such special stories.

Apologies for the lack of updates recently – our social media manager has been on annual leave 😉

🌱 Our gardening group have been hard at work, planting, potting, and enjoying the fresh air.

☕ Trips out to the local garden centre for a rbrowse and a coffee

🎲 Lots of laughter and activities at the Day Centre

🎶 Fantastic live entertainment from a wonderful ukulele group – plenty of singing along.

We had a lovely surprise today when the Easter Bunny popped in 🐰
He brought an Easter egg for every resident, and there were lots of smiles all round 😊🍫

We’ve had a busy and lovely week here 😊

Residents enjoyed making Easter bonnets and doing crafts together. We also had a great trip to Musical Minds, which everyone really enjoyed 👒 🐣 🎨

Another lovely visit from Little Inspirations Nursery today 💛

It was wonderful to see some special moments shared between our resident and the children. These visits always bring so much joy and brighten everyone’s day 🌼

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations ☘️

Our home was beautifully decorated for the occasion, creating a lovely festive atmosphere for our residents to enjoy. Residents tucked into a delicious Irish stew, followed by a fun and engaging Irish quiz.

The afternoon was made extra special with wonderful live Irish music from John Caskie and Willie 🪗 🎶

A fantastic day enjoyed by all!

Today we celebrate the wonderful women in our home for Mother’s Day. 💐

All of our mothers – and the lovely ladies who may not have children but are just as special to us – received a beautiful bouquet of flowers. A small gesture to show how much they are appreciated.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing women in our home. 🌸

Another busy few days for our residents! 🎶

On Wednesday afternoon ee had a wonderful time at Musical Minds, enjoying the music and great company.

Yesterday we headed out for a lovely lunch at Dalbeattie Garden Centre 🌸

While we were there, we also picked up our potatoes and compost, so we’re all ready to start planting in the garden. We’re looking forward to getting our hands dirty and watching everything grow! 🥔🌱
