****IMPORTANT NOTICE****
Compulsory computer system update
NHS Dumfries and Galloway IT services are completing a compulsory computer system update in all GP practices. Our surgery is scheduled to have this essential work completed on Thursday 22nd January 2026 between 08:00-16:00.
During this time we will be unable to process repeat prescriptions, make advanced bookings for appointments and will only have limited access to your medical records.
We have put measures in place to ensure minimal disruption to our patients. All pre-booked appointments will go ahead as scheduled.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this essential upgrade

Due to a combination of unforeseen circumstances we are extremely short staffed at the moment. Please bear with us as our team are working flat out to try and maintain normal services but requests, messages and appointments might take a bit longer than usual at the moment.

Our Practice Will Close Early Today

We’ll be closed from 1300 today, 20th August, so our team can take part in planned engagement session.

If your medical issue is urgent and cannot wait until we reopen, please call 01387 241033 or if an emergency then call 999 as normal.

We reopen as normal tomorrow.
