Over the next few weeks you may notice some activity in the car park and around the building. We are getting solar panels installed on the roof (apologies in advance for the overcast dark weather coming to Dalbeattie due to this). Part of the car park will be closed for workmen but we remain fully open as normal, and with normal accessibility.

Congratulations to Katie Clark, who has previously been with us as a medical student, and who worked as a clinical pharmacist here previously, who has passed her final medical exam and will be graduating as a doctor in the summer. We look forward to seeing you progress through your career as a doctor.

Our practice will be closed from 12:30 on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 for staff training.
If your medical issue is urgent and cannot wait until we reopen, please call 111, or if an emergency then call 999.
We will reopen as normal at 08:00 on Wednesday 4th March 2026

****IMPORTANT NOTICE****
Compulsory computer system update
NHS Dumfries and Galloway IT services are completing a compulsory computer system update in all GP practices. Our surgery is scheduled to have this essential work completed on Thursday 22nd January 2026 between 08:00-16:00.
During this time we will be unable to process repeat prescriptions, make advanced bookings for appointments and will only have limited access to your medical records.
We have put measures in place to ensure minimal disruption to our patients. All pre-booked appointments will go ahead as scheduled.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this essential upgrade

Due to a combination of unforeseen circumstances we are extremely short staffed at the moment. Please bear with us as our team are working flat out to try and maintain normal services but requests, messages and appointments might take a bit longer than usual at the moment.
