I am delighted to welcome Sharon Gurr, Counsellor and Psychotherapist, to Mysa. Sharon introduces herself and what she offers below :

Welcome — I’m Sharon Gurr, a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My passion lies in helping people reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and gently explore the path ahead.

I offer a warm, nurturing space where you can reflect, heal, and grow. My approach is grounded in a range of therapeutic modalities including Attachment Focused Therapy, CBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also incorporate creative techniques such as Inner Child work to help soothe overwhelming emotions and reconnect with the parts of ourselves we may struggle to understand.

Over the years, I’ve worked with clients facing:

· Depression and anxiety

· Relationship and family difficulties

· Grief and loss

· Trauma and negative childhood experiences

· Parenting challenges

· Career transitions

· Addictions and compulsive behaviours

· Confidence and self-esteem issues

I believe that each of us holds the wisdom to heal — sometimes we just need a little guidance to help us flourish. Like a sunflower turning toward the light, we thrive when we feel seen, supported, and understood.
