Part of my business is delivering First Aid courses. I have been delivering them for over 13 years (did you know I am a trained tutor as well?) and deliver Ofqual regulated qualifications accredited by Qualsafe Awards.

I've been lucky to be able to train many learners in the art of saving a life with CPR to the more mundane, but just as important, bleeding and head injuries and so much more.

I was delighted to be asked to teach 2 groups of International women where English was a second or a third language and there were at least 3 different languages in the room on both courses!

We all love positive feedback and this is no exception from the organiser of the courses -
"Karen was incredibly well-prepared and very thorough. Using her own extensive knowledge and experience, she answered all of our questions – of which there were many! The training wasn’t dull. Karen made paediatric first aid fun and (importantly) memorable.

"For many of the training participants, English is a second or other language. Karen was very supportive and, in being so clear and precise, her teaching was easier to understand for everyone."

So much has happened over the past 2 weeks I've not had time to update you all that I also passed my Nutrigenomics test and am now qualified to run genetic tests.
The beauty of running a genetics test is that we can deep dive into why systems in the body aren't working at their best and what we can do to help support them.
I am looking forward to adding this into treatment plans for fertility and hormone plans.

Happy Summer Solstice.

I love this time of year, it doesn't get dark until midnight and then the sun is up early.

The garden is producing well and I get to nourish my body and soul by picking fresh salad leaves and berries, no miles and no plastic. I then add to it to give me more of my 9 portions of fruit and veg we all should be eating each day.
I dress my salad with some extra virgin olive oil, as no salad should be eaten naked.

I picked 2 types of rocket, lettuce, coriander, chives, micro leaves, spinach.

It was yummy and so easy to make.

Moonbeam therapies was launched in May 2016, before that the business was called Moonbeam Aromas, but an expanding portfolio meant this name no longer fitted the scope of practice offered.

Moonbean Therapies offers an extensive range of Complementary Therapies including Nutritional Therapy, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology, Fertility Reflexology, Reflex Lymph Drainage and Reiki (Usui and Karuna). All of the therapies can be taken as an individual therapy or some can be combined.
