💛 Mother’s Day – A Moment to Reflect, Remember and Give Back 💛
This Mother’s Day, many of us will be celebrating the love, strength and warmth that mothers and mother figures bring to our lives. Whether you’re sharing time together, remembering someone special, or simply reflecting on the care that has shaped you, it can be a deeply meaningful day.
At Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland, we are privileged to support families during some of life’s most precious and emotional moments — helping people spend their final days in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by the people who love them most.
For many families, that means a mother, grandmother, partner or cherished loved one being able to stay where they feel safest — at home — creating quiet moments of connection, comfort and dignity.
Today is a moment to reflect on the love we’ve received, the care we’ve witnessed, and the memories that stay with us forever.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to honour someone special this Mother’s Day, there are many ways you can help make those moments possible for other families in our community:
🌻 Volunteer your time to support our work -www.hospiceathome.co.uk/volunteering/
🌻 Take part in a fundraising event or organise your own - www.hospiceathome.co.uk/events
🌻 Make a donation in memory or celebration of someone you love - www.hospiceathome.co.uk/how-you-can-help/donate-now/
Every act of kindness helps us continue providing compassionate hospice care at home, when it’s needed most.
Today we celebrate the love of mothers, remember those who are no longer with us, and stand alongside families creating precious moments together.
💛 From all of us at Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland, we wish you a thoughtful and peaceful Mother’s Day.
