Did you know Beauty Therapists are NOT allowed to use blades on feet to remove hard skin? They are not insured to use Scalpels. They are also not allowed to treat Diabetic Feet. They will not be insured to perform such treatments.
This takes additional Specialist Training to become a Foot Healthcare Practitioner. A Beauty Therapist role with feet is to perform a pedicure and make them look "pretty".
A Foot healthcare Practitioner treats conditions such as
Diabetic Feet
Corn Removal
Verrucae Treatment
Hard Skin Removal
Ingrown or Impacted Toenails
I was a Beauty Therapist for 27years and worked in Aesthetics for 18years, but I've been in the Nursing field for the past 3years. I love working on feet. I'm able to offer nail painting with normal polish or gel polish if I feel your suitable for such application. Paraffin wax treatments are AMAZING.......
