We noticed that there's a lot going on that mainly appeals to the women and girls among us, and not often much for just the men. So we are trialling a NEW breakfast club just for blokes.

We also know that it's less easy for some of you men out there to feel OK about those more organised groups...AND we know that that doesn't mean you don't get lonely and start to feel a bit isolated once work and other activities you used to do start to dry up, or become more difficult to take part in.

If you are feeling a bit house-bound, and that winter cabin-fever gets you down, come along and join us. Let's be clear - this club is not just for old men, single men, or farmers...it's for all men who find themselves feeling a bit isolated, low in mood, and sometimes just wish there was somewhere to go to have a chat about man stuff. If you know of someone in this position, tell them and encourage them to come along.

Hosted by the super-friendly Owen Moody, one of our experienced lunch club chefs, these breakfast gatherings will be all about keeping it simple, having an opportunity for some informal banter, whilst enjoying a freshly prepared breakfast bun of your choice, with a hot drink.

Nothing fancy - just the best of our local produce prepared by Owen.

This will start off as a 6-week trial and we are already in conversation with our funder to see if it's possible to get some targeted funding to keep it going longer term.

✨ Your Patient Waiting Area is Getting a Makeover✨
🚧 Improvement Works Starting 12/01/2026 🚧
We’re delighted to announce that our practice has secured funding to renovate and improve our patient waiting area. This is great news for everyone, but it does mean there will be some short-term disruption while the work takes place.
🔹 From 12/01/2026, for around 4 weeks, patients will need to enter via the staff entrance as the main doors will be closed.
🔹 A temporary waiting area will be available.
🔹 Five parking spaces will be cordoned off for contractor access.
🔹 Medication collections will also be available via the staff entrance.
🚶‍♂️ If you can, walk to your appointment to help ease parking pressures.
