Grosvenor Park Care Home

We teamed up with Riverside View Care Home yesterday and accompanied some residents to South Shields. This lovely trip was organised by hopetown and whessoe road club.

Our residents had an amazing time, the weather was glorious. We had a lovely stroll on the seafront and had very tasty fish and chips. We finished off the day playing on the 2p machines in the arcade. Sheila won a sand animal and was over the moon. Derek played a game of darts and won a very cute green monkey.

We then popped into the community centre for a much needed cup of tea. ☕️

Getting ready for VE Day. Why don't you pop along Friday 9th at 2pm. We have live entertainment, finger sandwiches, cream scones with tea and coffee and lots more. There will also be a raffle with some lovely prizes.

We have had a very busy week here at Grosvenor Park. We have had a Domino tournament, made some very tasty bunny cakes, Had an Easter egg hunt with lots of laughter and painted wooden dolls for the S&DR200 event.
