We discussed recent updates about Home Instead Darlington and Northallerton, introduced new Care Professionals to the team and celebrated all the hard work our Care Professionals have achieved over the past years! 💚

What an amazing time we had at our Memory Lane Activity Café last Thursday!💚

A massive thank you to the brilliant The Biking Vikings North East for hosting our café and bringing such joy to our guests!

The Biking Vikings are amazing in what they do and all funds raised go to Brain Tumour Research! Please have a look at their page.

The Biking Vikings made our guests aware of the statistics in Brain Tumours and performed some amazing songs on the bagpipes and drums for our guests to join in. They also got our guest to join in with dressing as Vikings , having fun photos taken and axe throwing (plastic axes!!)

It really was a great experience and safe to say, all of our guests left with a smile on their faces!

Our next Memory Lane Activity café is Thursday 16th April 10:30-12:30, where we will be doing cake decorating. We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. 💚

A health and well-being check for older adults is a supportive check-in to understand how someone is really managing at home. It looks at both physical health and emotional wellbeing, helping to make sure everyday needs are being met safely and comfortably.

These checks can include a review of medical conditions, medication, nutrition, mobility, vision and hearing, mental health and social connection. The aim is to notice small changes early, reduce risks, and offer guidance or extra support before concerns grow.

Our trained Care Professionals can help with these health and wellbeing checks, providing reassurance, kindness and experienced support so older adults can continue living well at home 💚
