Six members of staff from Woodlands Hospital , in Darlington, tackled the Great North Run this year, and have raised £3,090 for the town’s St Teresa’s Hospice. They were further delighted when Circle Health Group, which manages the hospital, boosted the total to more than £6,000 by matching what they raised.

We're count ourselves so, so lucky that we get to see a diverse range of wildlife in our gardens - we've had foxes, owls, woodpeckers, hedgehogs, rabbits and many more animal visitors over the past year.

A huge thank you to Acorn Dairy and everyone who bought tickets for their farm tours - the £1, 196 you collectively raised for St Teresa's Hospice will go towards supporting local people in our community who need compassionate care 💚

We rely almost entirely on public donations, and we're so grateful to everyone who donates and fundraises for us - because you care, we can 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined our farm tours through September and early October. Nearly 300 of you came to meet the cows, chat with the team, and take part in Shed Heads & Tails, we didn’t realise how competitive you’d be!

Your £2 tickets, matched by us, raised £1,196 for St. Teresa’s Hospice. Hospice Head Chef Marcus also stopped by for a photo. He’s been using our organic milk for over 14 years, ever since his days at Barnard Castle School, and continues to keep his supply chain local and meaningful.

As always, your support reminds us why we do what we do, thank you for coming, caring, and keeping things local. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who made Moonlight & Memories possible.

We had lots of wonderful volunteers from Darlington Borough Council, Darlington Building Society, Newcastle Building Society, and our own volunteers from St Teresa's Hospice who ran tombolas, raffles and stalls, provided refreshments, handed out t-shirts and goodie bags and guided the walk.

Darlington Rotary Club provided marshals to help keep everyone safe along the route, and Total Rental Solutions in Darlington supplied lighting free of charge for the event.

We’re so lucky to have you. Thank you for giving your time so selflessly, we can't wait to do it all again next year!
