Elements of Nature

Elements of Nature Elements of Nature believes in the healing power of nature for self discovery and personal growth.

Our approach is one of supporting individuals and communities to gain greater levels of happiness, meaning, and purpose through a reconnection to the natural world and natural health. www.ElementsOfNatureNow.com
Victoria has over 20 years’ experience working as a Holistic Therapist in the field of mental health and personal development. She has a wealth of experience working within a broad range of individuals and settings from mental health hospitals and the NHS to outdoor seasonal festivals. A life time love of nature has inspired her own personal and professional development, this has taken her to study with medicine people around the world as well as psychotherapists and scientists on the subjects of nature in health and healing. Having trained as a permaculture designer in 2016 she has found that the ethics and principles of permaculture now underpin all of the work she does as well as her own personal lifestyle choices. More recently she has been studying Wilderness Therapy with the intention of weaving all of her prior knowledge and experience together to offer a deeply therapeutic, empowering and educational service that she hopes will inspire others as much as she has been inspired on her own journey with the natural world.

In just a few hours, look out the Blood Moon lunar eclipse tonight, (7th September) at 7.33pm - it's a spectacular sight!

This Sunday evening, sky-watchers across the UK are in for a rare celestial treat: a total lunar eclipse, often called a “blood moon.”

Hope everyone is enjoying the middle of summer

Happy Summer Solstice All,
hope you're all having a ball.

A time to pause and get outside,
Honour the sun above, and inside,

Your spark, your light, your dreams and passion
illuminated by the golden sun.

The seeds you've planted, the journey so far
Abundance that comes from the blooming flower,
the velvety soft petals, the sweet bouquet.
just some of what makes us so grateful today.

Absorbing the rays of the sun at his peak,
with gratitude for lighting up that which we seek.

As the kings of Holly and Oak turn to battle,
This time Holly King takes up the mantle,

To guide us inwards to the darker phase of the year,
with endurance and protection, without fear.

Stop for a moment, take it all in,
feast and celebrate with your kin,
Before we begin the descent within.

Summer Solstice 2025, Victoria Clark

Ooohh my favourite time of year... Beltaine!
Honouring the spring and heralding the start of the summer, and what a beautiful one it is this year.
The sun is shining, the bids are singing and everywhere is so green and lush, I hope that wherever you are you are having a beautiful spring/summer and you are getting plenty of opportunities to connect in nature.
Beltaine is one of the cross quarter festivals, it is a fire festival that celebrates the sun and the coming together of the feminine and masculine to create new life. It's incredibly fertile and a great reminder of the power of connection and collaboration.

This year I am so exciting to share the birth of our new company Connected In Nature, and introduce you to a little of what we are bringing to Durham and surrounding areas this May. Sorry for the slight ramble and the upside down bit in the middle of the video, I'm a bit excited! 😁

Please help us spread the word by liking and sharing our Connected In Nature page too - linked on our website.

I am away for the next week preparing for and co-hosting at The Nature Therapy Conference near Chester.
I will get back to any messages on my return and in the meantime you can book your place at our launch event here.. www.ConnectedInNarure.com

Wishing everyone a blessed Spring Equinox.
A time of fertility, bringing light to the shadows and embracing change.
If things are out of balance this time of year will often do something to address that, it can bring up challenges and shadow it can equally bring joy and abundance.

This year I have been hit with a virus, I have been pushing very hard over the last few months preparing for the launch of an exciting new Community Interest Company. At times it felt like I had boundless energy driven by the passion I have around this project but even though I was aware that working day and night on this was not balanced, I sill took full advantage of this burst of energy and just kept going.

Now just before the launch deadline I gave myself, I have had to stop and face the shadow of what is going on for me around desperately wanting to get this out there. The fear of procrastination (which has been a place I can get lost in too), the fear of failure, of leaving it too late or of not finishing that which I have started.

Initially frustrated and disappointed at having to come to a sudden stand still I have taken time to look at this 'obstacle as an opportunity', this is a Permaculture principle I work with a lot.
So now I am resting, taking time to 'pause and reflect' and feeling grateful for the support and guidance of the other co-creators in this process, as well as the deep insights that are coming to me through the higher realms in my waking and sleeping dreams.

I wish the same for you, that whatever comes your way you are able to face it, turn it into an opportunity and embrace your shadow.
With Love and Spring Time Blessings, Victoria x

I love this example of compassion and empathy. Always been a big fan of Izzard too, inspired by her enigmatic courage and expression in my youth.

Suzy Eddie Izzard, the renowned British comedian and actor, has openly addressed the public's uncertainty regarding her preferred name and pronouns. In a social media update, she expressed a preference for the name 'Suzy' and the pronouns 'she/her', while also stating that she doesn't mind being called 'Eddie' or using 'he/him' pronouns. She humorously added that the only way someone could err is by calling her 'Kenneth' or 'Sabrina'.
This approach underscores her flexible and inclusive attitude towards gender identity, aiming to alleviate any discomfort others might feel when addressing her. Izzard has also shared that 'Suzy' is a name she has wanted to use since she was ten years old, reflecting a long-standing personal connection.
By embracing both 'Suzy' and 'Eddie', and being open to various pronouns, she fosters an environment where individuals can interact with her without fear of making mistakes, thereby promoting understanding and acceptance of gender fluidity.

Blessed Imbolc

As we rest, still in the heart of winters arms,
spring whispers sweet nothings in our ear, showing us signs of
getting closer,
the frozen ground starts to thaw, and new life starts to slowly appear from deep beneath the darkness of the soil.

The sun lingers a little longer into the evenings bringing a little warmth and hope with the returning light.
The birds like a rehearsing orchestra tune and warm their instruments ready for the height of their coming performance, exciting the audience with flashes of colour and promise of an exuberant debut.

A deep breath, a sigh of gratitude and appreciation for the changing seasons, for what has been and what is yet to come, the challenging and the spectacular, the grief and the celebration.
Like a courtship with the earth, a beautiful dance, an ebb and a flow of inner and outer expression, connection and exploration.

Each year as the wheel of the seasons turn we have an opportunity to deepen our connection with the earth and become more familiar with her rhythms and her influence on the rhythms of our own changing seasons.

So now before spring comes into it's fullness we still have that opportunity to pause and soften into the arms of winter, taking time for connection within, nurturing our body, mind and spirit, building our resources and nourishing the seeds of the new life and ideas we are preparing, ready to emerge in the spring.
