Last week we celebrated the remarkable 20 year service of Tess, one of our fantastic Registered Nurses on the Ward💙.

Tess is absolutely part of the fabric of the Ward at Woodlands. She not only brings a wealth of experience but is also our Blood Transfusion Lead. Her dedication to the role ensures our staff are highly trained and updated, having a direct impact on promoting high quality, compassionate patient care.

Our Story

BMI Woodlands Hospital is part of the BMI Healthcare hospital network. It provides a range of inpatient, outpatient and day-case specialties, including orthopaedic, spinal, urology, ear nose and throat, gynaecology and general surgery . Diagnostic and specialist equipment on site includes modern wide bore MRI scanner, ultrasound, and x-ray. Led by executive director Debbie Dobbs, the hospital in Morton Park, Darlington, provides services for NHS patients, for insured patients and for patients who choose to pay for their own care.
