Working together with your body's energy systems, we activate your natural capacity for self healing Hi I'm Jo Sloan
After experiencing the life changing health benefits myself of kinesiology for over ten years, I feel that my aim now is to help others do the same. I'm very much still learning and growing on my new path and extremely grateful to have the opportunity to help people. I studied Touc
h for Health kinesiology in Glasgow at Harmony Kinesiology College, which is part of the International Kinesiology College. I'm also a proficient member of the Kinesiology Federation. My story began when I had continuous bladder and kidney issues, which led me to be on antibiotics, usually ending up in a trip to A&E. The doctors consistently found nothing structurally wrong with my body, and therefore, I searched for an alternative route to vibrant health. I haven't suffered from my old ailments for years, and my journey continues in raising my vibration, striving to reach optimum health, improving my spiritual diet and becoming the best version of me I can be! What is Kinesiology? Kinesiology combines chiropractic with the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. It is the science of muscle testing with the focus on balancing the person's whole soul. It works with the nervous system, the neurovascular system, the neurolymphatic system and the acupuncture meridian energy system. Working together with your body’s energy systems, we activate your natural capacity for self-healing using the science of muscle testing. What is energy? In this context energy refers to systems of energy within and around the body. Subtle energy is synonymous with the Qi (pronounced chi) of Chinese acupuncture and with the prana of traditional Indian medicine and philosophy. Other terms have been given to this universal life-force, the harmonious flow of which is vital to the health of mind and body. The existence of subtle energy and meridians is becoming far more accepted in the western world and scientifically studied. Each energy meridian is connected to specific bodily organs and muscles, kinesiology promotes the healthy flow of energy throughout the body. The ancient philosophy of Chinese medicine states that health comes from being in balance and harmony with all things. (Maggie La Tourelle - Principles of Kinesiology)
