Did you know:
π² In 2020, 11.7% of all cancers diagnosed were female breast cancer, making it the most common cancer worldwide.
π² In 2020, there were 2.26 million women diagnosed with breast cancer and 685,000 deaths globally.
π² At of the end of 2020, there were 7.8 million women alive who were diagnosed with breast cancer over the previous 5 years.
π² In 2019, there were 25,100 men diagnosed with breast cancer and 12,100 deaths globally. Yes, men get breast cancer too!
Thats over half a million deaths in 2020 alone!
Each number represents a person, a life, a story. Behind these numbers are individuals with dreams, hopes, and loved ones.
I am fortunate to be alive 10 years after my diagnosis.
This I am sure is because I turned my journey into one of empowerment and transformation.
Of course there will always be some cases where death is inevitable, however, I strongly believe that there is always hope, and with the right mindset and the necessary changes in lifestyle, the prognosis is good.
Understand that cancer is your body's way of telling you something is wrong and needs to change. Stop 'fighting' cancer and learn to love your body, respecting it, caring for it, nourishing it, helping it to heal.
I am not against conventional treatment, but I believe the way we think about cancer needs to change. It's not about 'killing' it', or 'getting rid' of it. Cancer is actually part of your body, and you don't want to get rid of part of your body.
Instead it's about healing, it's about supporting your body back to holistic wellness. It's about taking responsibility for your health.
That is what I help you to do. I help you to process, to take responsibility, to change your mindset, to implement changes to your lifestyle, to thrive beyond breast cancer.
