Kane's World Foundation have put together a short survey to help shape support for SEND families. Please take a moment to complete this short survey and have your voice heard.

SEND Families – We Need Your Voice 💙

At Kane’s World Foundation, everything we do is driven by the real experiences of families raising children with additional needs. The world was not built with our children in mind, which is why we are working so hard to create spaces, activities and support that truly meet their needs.

To help us shape what comes next, we have created a very short survey (2 minutes) for SEND families.

Your answers will help us:
✨ Evidence the real challenges families face
✨ Show funders why projects like ours are needed
✨ Shape future activities, resources and support for SEND families in our community

We know how precious your time is, so we have kept it quick and simple, but every response helps us strengthen the work we are doing.

If you are a parent or carer of a child or young person with SEND, we would be so grateful if you could complete it.

Together we can make sure the voices of SEND families are heard and help build a community where our children are understood, supported and able to thrive.

Its a nice easy survey, multiple choice answers that will make a HUGE difference 🌎

Thank you for helping us build a better world for our children 💙

The theme of this year’s International Women's Day is “give to gain” which gives us the chance to shine a spotlight on the inspiring women who continually support others across the town.

Among them is Adele Morris, Development Manager at Darlington Connect, which coordinates organisations to help residents with health, wellbeing, cost of living challenges, and accessibility.

She said: “Darlington Connect is a mental health and wellbeing hub based in the centre of town next to Costa Coffee. We provide information and connect people to organisations that offer support in areas such as mental health, finances and cost of living, family support and recreation.

"I am really proud of the work that we do here at the hub and within the community, connecting people to the right support when they need it most. If you need help, you’re not alone! Contact us on 01325 639507, email darlingtonconnect1@gmail.com, or visit our hub at 6 Northgate between 9am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.”
