What a time we've had. Such a privilege to take this wonderful group through their Theoretical training in Jungian Sandplay. We started of course with Eunice Stagg leading the teaching, and since her loss have repeated her motto "crack on" many times. Thank you to each and everyone of you. We did it, and all within the wonderful holding space of Holy Rood House in Thirsk. Special thanks to the staff there for holding us through this time.

Next training starts in April so message me if you want details. I will need to confirm by February.

Have you always yearned to be a Registered Jungian Sandplay Therapist, or at least to know more about it? Come and join me in the Yorkshire countryside next year to start a transformational journey towards Registration with AST, Association Sandplay Therapy.
Face to face training in a wonderful nurturing setting with like minded people. I've never regretted my own journey, enjoying the theoretical training, my own process, my consultation, and everything else involved. You will be well held and supported throughout.
The current group finish their theoretical training in September, and we start again with a new group in April 2026.
Venue is the beautiful Holy Rood House in Thirsk.

The Sandplay community came together in force yesterday to thank God for the life of Eunice Stagg. Eunice brought so much humility, passion, wisdom and curiosity to our world. Most of all she brought love, an unconditional acceptance and belief in so many of us which we can all embrace as we continue her most wonderful legacy. Rest in peace beautiful Eunice- our lives are poorer for losing you, but so much richer for having known you ❤️❤️

Shows how tired I am- I’ve find this twice! 😂😂
Just one more day of our week’s training with these lovely people. We’ve laughed and cried and worked very very hard. Another week in September and they will be well on their to becoming registered Sandplay therapists. A privilege to hold this precious space.

Some of the lovely group I worked with this weekend. We mourned and remembered Eunice Stagg but continued her legacy as I supervised their incredible work with clients as Sandplay therapists. Such an honour, in such a bitter/sweet situation. To say I’m shattered would be an underestimate but I think Eunice would be happy ❤️❤️

Tribute to Eunice Stagg, 1954 – 2025 🕊️

“All are welcome to the church service. Thank you so much for the many kind and loving messages about Eunice. They have been a great comfort to us all.

Eunice’s funeral service will take place on Thursday 26th June 2025 at Witham United Reform Church, starting at 2:00 pm (the church will open from 1:30 pm). Everyone who knew and loved Eunice is warmly invited to attend.

Eunice was a kind, generous, and caring soul who touched many lives around the world. She leaves a lasting legacy of love, wisdom, and compassion. We are honoured to remember her as a devoted wife, mum, and beloved nana. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The lights went out last Thursday when the world lost a shining light, and I lost a soul mate and dear dear friend and colleague Eunice. I first met her moons ago when I started training in Jungian Sandplay Therapy. From teacher/mentor/consultant she eventually became a colleague and we’ve taught all over the country together. She is president of Association Sandplay Therapy, and we are on the Board together. She has taught all over the world. A titan in the world of Sandplay therapy and Psychotherapy. More than that we became the closest of friends, sharing our joys, our sorrows, our everything. She knows where the bodies lie! Knows my story.
She has fought and fought through serious illness over the last few years and we held her fears together, gently and bravely. Laughed together, cried together. We’d text most days, sharing our lives and families. Her loss is unspeakable and all I can do is thank God for her, for her wisdom, compassion, love, humility, for so so many things.
I now have to take up the mantle of teaching which I do with fear and trembling as I can never fill her shoes but will let the light she instilled in me so many years ago slowly burn and if I can be the tiniest of lights to others then I thank her wholeheartedly for believing in me, and entrusting her legacy to me.
Rest in peace my beautiful, lovely, gracious friend. Missing you ❤️❤️ Rest in peace Eunice xx

Already halfway through their first week of training. Our lovely group hail from Iceland, Ayre, Swindon, Bristol, Kent, Essex-to name but a few. What a joy to be with such lovely like minded souls, and to be so well cared for by the lovely staff at Holy Rood House in Thirsk
