PLEASE HELP US RAISE FUNDS FOR OUR REFURBISHMENT COSTS.
Starting on 1st February 2026, Atisha KMC members are embarking on an exciting fundraising challenge to collectively walk round the coastal Kadampa Centres of England.

WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?
This is a virtual challenge where members track their daily steps until weโ€™ve reached our goal. Weโ€™re aiming to complete the challenge by the end of February!

The route starts at Atisha KMC and goes to:
* Amoghasiddhi KMC (Norfolk โ€“ furthest East)
* Ganden Ling KMC (Truro โ€“ furthest South & West)
* Manjushri KMC (Ulverston โ€“ Mother Centre)
* Compassion KMC (Newcastle โ€“ furthest North)
* and back to Atisha KMC, Darlington.
The total route is approximately 1080miles (~1740km) or around 2.5 million steps!

WHY DO WE NEED THIS CHALLENGE?
In 2025 we spent over ยฃ15,000 on building repairs and refurbishments and we still have more that needs doing, including:

* redecorating and refurbishing the public areas
* roof repairs โ€“ including urgent repairs to the roof terrace
* damp repairs and prevention
* refurbishment of the meditation room

Our vision is to create a space that truly makes a difference and where people can feel better, think more clearly, and connect with what matters โ€“ as a registered charity we need to raise funds to do this.

Please donate as much as you can to support this fantastic challenge, which is for such a worthwhile cause.
