As well as a page we now also can arrange a Skype video call to anywhere in the world so no matter how far away you are you can always get in touch with your loved one. *Disclaimer* Consent has been obtained from all residents, relatives and staff to share photos and posts on this page, where capacity is an issue consent has been sought from families and care managers. Some of the festivities from over the last few days! We had Jay come and sing for us, then the puppets came and put on a fabulous show and topped off today by Rob coming to perform some Christmas classics.

Today at Moorlands we donned our festive attire for Christmas jumper day...the residents also had a visit from the main man himself 🎅

So yesterday we had our Andre Rieu Christmas showing on the big screen with mulled wine and mince pies, complete with tickets and even had to get your ticket stamped to gain entry!! That got us all in the Christmas spirit and was enjoyed by everyone, so much so we actually ended up watching a second concert!! Then today we have been at bowls!!!

So we had a classy night in Moorlands tonight with a wine pairing evening. Everybody had lots of fun sampling the wine and the delicious canapes made by the wonderful Natalie Smith. My personal favourite was the pinot noir paired with the pear and blue cheese! Absolutely delicious.
We even had little score cards to rate each wine and canape
We are a classy lot in Moorlands!!

After a busy day yesterday we were thinking it would be quiet today and nobody would want to go out but two trips to town later and we're nearly done! Another busy day out shopping in town. And who says Christmas shopping is stressful, not at Moorlands! we all had fun and actually did some shopping as well as coffee shops and pubs of course! Merry Christmas everyone x x

Had a lovely time at our Christmas lunch. Thank you to all the staff at Blackwell Grange Hotel for your great hospitality. We all had an amazing time and are all shattered now. Thank you to everyone who came and to Chelsea Elizabeth Julie Wilson and Paige.

So we all had a great night at the bowls presentation night. We couldn't get Ines off the dancefloor so was a late night but everyone had a great time. Thank you to Tony and Yvonne for making this all possible and a massive well done to Ruth for winning this year's Memorial trophy! Alan would be proud. We couldn't get Ines off the dancefloor floor!! A huge thank you to Rob and Alison for providing the transport and also to Tony and Yvonne for making the bowls possible. You truly do a great job and we are eternally grateful x x
