EJay Fit

EJay Fit I help people improve their health in enjoyable and sustainable ways so they can live life to the fullest. Hey, I'm Eddie. Does any of this sound familiar? Eddie

I'm a level 4 personal trainer and qualified nutritionist with almost a decade worth of experience in the health industry. I also have a Psychology BSc Hons degree. But enough about me, let's talk about you. You’ve tried different diets and have struggled to maintain your results.

You’re busy — which makes it hard to eat healthy and work out consistently.

You’re tired of restricting and feelin

g deprived of the food you actually want to eat. You’ve recently received a diagnosis and you’re worried about your health.

You've struggled with emotional eating or stress eating.

You tend to overeat when you're spending time with friends or family.

You're feeling uncomfortable with the way your body looks and feels. You want to live a fit, healthy, FULL and wholesome life but don't know where to start? Then you're in the right place. I've helped over 1,000 people from 7 different countries overcome these exact challenges... and here's the cool part: I've helped them do it differently. While most diets and trainers focus on grinding you through restrictive meal plans (which never last) and obsessing over getting you a smaller body, I take a different approach. I help you build eating, exercise, and mindset skills that not only get you lean, strong, and fit but also create a BIGGER life. My goal? To add fun and enjoyment to your life, not take it away. Screw less. Let's chase more: more health, more fitness, more experiences, more life. If you're struggling with your health and my approach sounds like your jam? Then either hit the link below to learn more about my coaching, or drop me a message. I'd love to hear from you.

🚨 8-Week Hiking Program–Beta Participants Needed.

Thinking about getting into hiking this year? Or already love the trails but want to feel stronger and go further?

Then I’ve got something I think you’re going to LOVE.

Recently, I’ve been busy building 4 straightforward, HIKING SPECIFIC training programs for people who want to improve their hiking strength, endurance, and confidence without spending ungodly hours training.

There are 4 different programs you can choose from:

🏡 Beginner – Home
🏋️ Beginner – Gym
🏡 Intermediate – Home
🏋️ Intermediate – Gym

Everything is inside my app—laid out week by week, with video demonstrations so you’ll know exactly what to do, how to do it, and how many times to do it

These are damn near “can’t get it wrong” programs.

You'll never second-guess if you’re getting it right.

And the specifics behind them is to help you:

🔥 Move better on uneven ground
🔥 Stay steady on steep downhills
🔥 Build endurance so hikes feel easier
🔥 Strengthen your legs to avoid injuries
🔥 Feel STRONG and confident hitting the trails

Now, to start, I need beta testers for the program.

The full price will be way higher later, but for this first round? It’s just going to be £10 for the full 8 weeks.

If you’re interested in joining?

Click the link in the comments and fill in your details.

It doesn't tie you into anything.

It just means I'll email you with a private access link so you can sign up to one of the programs if you choose.

But be quickkkkkkk.

Because I'm going to take this down once the programs go live to join - in 7-10 days from now.

One it’s gone, it's gone 👋

Looking for beta-participants 👋
..beginner or experienced folks who want to build hiking specific strength, fitness, and balance so they can enjoy more outdoors adventures in 2025.

Might that sound like... YOU?!

Great!

Keep an eye on my socials here.

I'll have more details in the next 24-48 hours.

Including a pre-registration page... Which you'll need to join if you want to snag one of the limited places for this beta-launch. I'd write more. But it's been a long day. And I'm hungry 😅 But consider this a heads-up that something exciting is coming for any of you hikers, or wanna-be-hikers 👋👣

Spring is coming.

And the trails are calling 🏞️🥾

(P.S. Know anyone that this might be useful for? Send it to them or tag them below so they have an opportunity to join the beta program when it launches)

Reminder: You’re on your OWN timeline.

You need to let go of the idea that progress has to happen on a set schedule.

You don’t need to drop 20lbs in 8 weeks.

You don’t have to get "beach body ready" (whatever the f that means?) by summer.

And it’s okay if you’re not lifting heavy yet, running a 5K at sub 30 times, or climbing big ass mountains.

Back in September last year I had the idea to create a hiking journal.

I thought it might take me a month, two at tops.

Yet, here I am, a full five months later and just getting the first prototype.

I actually REALLY friggin' like it for a first shot.

I’m going to test it first—take it out on some hikes, see how it holds up, tweak what needs tweaking.

And I’m going to gift copies to clients who want to do the same.

Once I’ve got some feedback and I’m 100% happy, I’ll put them out for order.

Maybe that’ll be another few weeks… or months?

I don’t know.

But what I do know is that I’m on my own timeline with this.

And so are you.

Whatever you’re working on:

- Fitness goals
- Health goals
- Professional goals
- Your mental health
- A personal project you thought would be done ages ago

Remember this: Progress doesn’t come with a deadline.

You’re not behind.

There’s no finish line you should be at by now.

Your timeline is yours.

So keep going.

You'll get there when you get there.

I'll do the same 👋🏻

P.S. Help me out: green or beige front cover?

What are you saying? 👇🏻🤷🏻‍♂️

"Never give up" is some terrible clichéd advice 😴

I can think of at least half a dozen times when giving up is the smartest thing you can do:

- When a diet makes you miserable and hangry
- When a workout is more punishing than progressive
- When a relationship sucks the life out of you
- When a friendship feels exhaustingly one-sided
- When a goal drains you rather than excites you
- When a book's a drag, not a welcome escape
..and sometimes, when you're out hiking and pushing on is just plain reckless and stupid AF.

The pic attached to this post?

That’s from a couple of weeks ago, coming back down White Side in the lakes. Abbie and I had set off later than we should’ve. The snow was knee-deep in places, and it was slowing us down—like wayyyyy down.

What should’ve taken an hour felt like three, and I realised that if we kept going, we’d be coming back down in the dark. Snow up to our knees. Path barely visible. Not ideal.

So, we called it.

Turned around.
Headed back.
Enjoyed a coffee ☕

And... I have ZERO regrets.

I’m not about to end up as one of those "lessons learned the hard way" posts on the Mountain Rescue page with a long thread of nasty ass comments 😅

No thanks!

So take it from me: if you’re out hiking and something doesn’t feel right—be it the weather, the conditions, or just your gut telling you to call it—listen to it.

Turning back isn’t a failure.

Sometimes quitting is EXACTLY how you win 👋

Snowed in, but having fun out ☃️💨

Massive gratitude to The Quiet Site for being so accommodating with the weather. When it became clear we couldn't safely leave today, they immediately offered us an extra night's stay free of charge. No fuss, no drama - just genuine care for guests' safety.

In a world where we're quick to leave bad reviews, it's worth shouting out the good ones too! 👏

Isn't it beautiful out today? ☃️

🎁👋**A public thank you**👋🎁

I hadn't planned on picking my phone up again, but I felt the urge to post a public thank you to the folks who joined my annual Steppin' Home For Christmas challenge 👋 Because you guys are friggin' ACE.

Locally, in Darlington, we raised 100's of donations for MIND - some becoming Christmas gifts this week, others stocking next year's tombola.

I hope they provide some smiles.

And up and down the country? Hundreds more donations reached food banks feeding families, shelters keeping people warm, and children's charities making sure kids wake up to presents.

Every year I'm blown away by people's efforts.

And every year I'm reminded:

Gifts are cool 'n' all.

But connection and kindness is everything.

Anyway, that's enough of my yappin', I can hear a LOT of bread, cheese, olives, crisps Baileys and more screaming my name 😅 ... so I'll wish you a wonderful Christmas whatever you're doing.

All the best from the lakes friends 👋🙂🎁🎄

"Are you okay Eddie?"

So someone asked me in the town earlier today.

The reason they asked is because they haven't seen anything on my socials for some time. And she's kinda right. I have turned the noise down here.

Why so?

Two reasons:

1. Social media seems to have turned into a "let's see who can shout the loudest and most ridiculous crap to get the most attention" competition. The most shocking-and brain dead-posts please the algorithm gods the most.

"10 reasons to stick coffee up your ass"
(Genuinely saw that ^^ the other day)
"Do this ONE exercise to torch back fat"
..and "what I eat in a day for a flat tummy" vlogs from half naked 19 year old influencers who elicit more body image breakdowns than they do useful breakthroughs for people.

I hate trying to compete with that noise.

I promote what works, not what sells.

That ^^ can be hard to get attention with.

2. If I'm posting less, it usually means I'm doing more.

Swipe to see some life crumbs from the past few weeks.

In ⬅️ order: 1. Exploring in the lakes. 2. Hiking Fremington Edge. 3. Playing donkey for my niece and nephew. 4. Running my annual step and charity challenge (donations from Darlington and UK wide piling up). 5. Celebrating client wins that move beyond the physical. 6. Creating a new hiking journal (coming soon). 7. Ordering extra habit tracking calendars for the New Year. 8. Coaching clients outside in some beautiful December colours. 9. Writing, program designing & eating in Babuls. 10. Being with Abbie.

I'm okay, thank you.

Just popping my head above water to confirm 👋

How are you?
Doing okay? 🤷🏻‍♂️👇🙂

Nature is kinda like an Instagram algorithm...

You scroll knowing you'll land on something 'good' at some point, but you don't know when or how good that thing will be. That's why you keep scrolling ⬇️ 🫠

The same applies to nature.

You never know what you'll encounter and when.

Case in point:

On Sunday, Abbie and I walked a coastal route in Malta.

Halfway, we stumbled on a spot where the rough sea was pushing through a crack in the rocks and exploding upward, like a giant whale’s blowhole.

We stopped, watched, took photos, and of course, like children, dared one another to get close 😅😅

Naturally, I'm posting to remind you:

1. Stepping outside can lead to moments you’ll never forget. Nature always has something amazing waiting for you—you just have to go out and find it.

And,

2. Our annual FREE December step challenge kicks off in 5 days 🎉 If you want an extra shot of motivation to stay active through December, while raising donations for local charities... Join us! 👋🙂

There's 30-40 of us taking part so far.

And I'd love to push that to 50 and beyond.

Because the more people I get in, the more people we can help out. And the more you step outside, the healthier you'll feel on the inside for Christmas 🎄🎁

That's a win-win!

Interested in joining?

You'll land on a page with all the details 🙂👇

P.S. What are some of your favourite things you've encountered outdoors? I'd love to hear any of your weird and wonderful experiences in the comments.

Does anyone else walk through empty streets and past abandoned buildings and imagine up the stories they could tell? It's not just me, right? 🤪🫠
