Information Thursday
Le’ts start exploring what spiritualism is all about. For each of us it will be different as our experiences are different and how we perceive those experiences. Yet there will be a common theme in each of our experiences which is shared amongst us.
For example, have you ever known that the phone is going to ring and when answered say to the other person on the phone, ‘I was just thinking of you’, or had a Deja vu experience,
Had a gut experience which then turned out to be true or come true. Seen something out the corner of your eye, but when you looked again nothing was there.
Most of us have had those types of experiences, yet it’s those types of experience’s that start us on our own spiritual journey. And as we begin this journey, we start looking into tarot cards, oracle cards, palmistry, but also question how mediums know things that others don’t.
Well how do mediums know information about you that no one else knows. What do they do to make them able to do that?
In spiritualist churches the job of a medium is to prove that life continues after death by giving evidence to the person in the audience. The evidence that a medium can give can be; months that are important to that person, names of people, a particular flower, places, name of roads. It’s any information about yourself that the medium doesn’t know.
How they do it becomes a little more difficult to explain. If I told you to connect with your higher self, your spirit guide, your energy centre, would you know what I was talking about?
If you do that’s good, as I may question your own meaning of these words that are spoken by many on the spiritual path.
If you don’t that’s good, as we can explore the meanings together week by week.
Spiritualism starts with yourself and understanding yourself the good, the bad and the ugly parts of yourselves, what we do in our daily lives and how to live it.
So come with me on a journey that will lead you to more questions about life, the universe, and how we are a part of a bigger whole than what you can imagine.
