The residents enjoyed a rousing singer at The Bridge, staff, residents and relatives all dancing and singing along to the classics, there was a wonderful party atmosphere ! 🎤🎶

The Bridge celebrated Burns Night with a rousing performance from a fabulously turned out bagpiper, the traditional Scottish tunes were filling the air, and the residents enjoyed a few glasses of traditional Irn Bru too! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our residents had a fantastic time visiting the iconic Canterbury Cathedral , Britain’s first cathedral — over a thousand years of history to wonder at! ⛪️🙏✝️

What a whimsical afternoon! 🐇✨ Residents enjoyed a Mad Hatter’s tea party complete with Alice and the White Rabbit stopping by to say hello!

We had a visit at The Bridge from Sam, an ex British Army reservist , who has taken it upon himself to travel the country visiting care homes, in search of WW2 veterans , he is part of Britain Of Remembrance, taking his stories into schools, educating children to ensure that the veterans are never forgotten. He spoke with our lovely Reg about his time working as an air mechanic. A new friendship was formed and Reg even put his signature on an original WW2 helmet, alongside the other veterans that Sam has met on his travels . 🪖🎖️

The residents had a busy day, bringing out their creative and competitive side , painting and getting sporty ! 🎾🏓

The residents enjoyed a delicious pub lunch at The Ivy Leaf today, the fire was roaring, the drinks were flowing — and there were plenty of smiles all round! 🥂🪵
