Our Knit & Knatter club at Visiting Angels North West Kent is all about chatting knitting and sharing laughter. It is a relaxed space where seniors can enjoy companionship, make new friends and feel part of a caring community 🤍

We’ve had a fabulous turnout for induction training this week! 🤩

Please join me in giving a very warm welcome to Beth, Mia, and Rosie. We are incredibly fortunate to have them joining our ever-growing Visiting Angels North West Kent family!

Beth is returning to work after recently having a baby. She brings valuable experience from the care sector, having previously worked in domiciliary care, as well as providing support to her dad during a period of ill health.

Mia has not had formal experience in the care industry but has supported her grandad, gaining skills that are highly transferable to the clients we support. Her compassion and willingness to learn will be a real asset to the team.

Rosie has also recently had a baby and previously ran her own dog grooming business. She is now looking for a change of career and discovered a real passion for helping people while supporting her nan.

We are very much looking forward to having the girls join the team and watching them grow in their roles! 😇😇😇

Angel of the month for January is Courtney!!!

Courtney has been in her role since the beginning of September and has shown significant development during this time. She has really found her feet and grown in confidence in her own abilities, becoming more assured in her decision-making and day-to-day responsibilities. Courtney supports all aspects of the business and approaches her work with a positive and proactive attitude, demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Her commitment and progress to date have been very encouraging, and I am confident she will continue to develop further. I am very much looking forward to seeing what the future holds for her within the role and the business.
