Hey, I'm Adam & I'm a qualified counsellor for adults & young adults. I specialise in Walk & Talk therapy, which is where we go outside to an area/place of your choice (I do have recommendations if need be as well), and we will have a gentle stroll & talk things through. I do also offer face to face sessions which is held in a peaceful and private room, as well as online via zoom or whatApp video call. Sometimes, something just isn't right, you don't need to have the answers or even be clear about what you need but you can tell me what's been happening & what's been on your mind and together we can figure it all out. Some people may find it difficult to sit still while trying to process their emotions, thoughts and feelings in a traditional therapy room. So, this is why for some people Walk & Talk therapy is maybe a more relaxed option. It is a talking therapy conducted outside whilst walking. Physical activity can help the client to relax & feel more comfortable. Making it easier to open up & share your thoughts and feelings. There are times in life when things can seem overwhelming - It can happen to any of us, at any time - Please don't feel like you're on your own, I am here for you. I offer different styles of counselling, depending on you & your needs. So this way you get a unique approach that works for you. Together we can make steps to positive changes that can help you feel & be more in control of your life - Built on a trusting & secure relationship with me, your counsellor. When somebody says they're lost.
They're not where they want to be, they feel like they're supposed to be somewhere else.
Say they could snap their fingers and be wherever they wanted to be, I bet they'd still feel lost, not in the right place.
The point is they shouldn't get so hung up on where they'd rather be that they forget how to make the most of where they are now.
Take a break from worrying about what you can't control & Live a little.

Let’s be honest.
Some days your mental health plan is:
“Get through today without crying in Tesco.”
And yes — that still counts.
Healing isn’t always breakthroughs and big realisations.
Sometimes it’s overthinking a conversation from 2014, being tired for no clear reason, or promising an early night and then scrolling anyway.
Counselling isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about making sense of where you are — without judgement.
And if sitting in a room talking feels like too much, that’s okay.
Counselling can also look like a walk, some fresh air, and a chat that feels a bit more natural.
If any of this feels familiar, you don’t need to rush or have the right words.
You can just start with a walk and a conversation — when you’re ready.

Life has a way of piling things up.
Thoughts, feelings, responsibilities… and somehow we tell ourselves we should be able to cope quietly, without making a fuss.
Counselling is a space where you don’t have to do that.
It’s a calm, confidential place to slow things down, to say the things you haven’t said out loud, and to be met with understanding rather than judgement.
It’s not about being “fixed” or suddenly having all the answers.
It’s about curiosity. About noticing patterns, making sense of what you’ve been through, and learning a bit more about yourself along the way.
Sometimes it’s about unravelling the past.
Sometimes it’s about getting through the present.
And sometimes it’s simply about having one hour that’s just for you.
If something is affecting your wellbeing — big or small — it matters.
And you don’t have to carry it alone 🤍

You don’t have to walk this road alone.
When life feels stormy — cold or overwhelming — support exists, and you are not the only one who has felt this way.
Many people reach a point where simply surviving is no longer enough. That moment matters. It’s the quiet decision to step out of old patterns, to face what’s been held inside, and to begin again — gently, at your own pace.

Counselling isn’t about “fixing” you — you’re not a broken appliance.
It’s more like giving your mind some breathing room, a comfy chair, and permission to finally exhale.

It’s a space to unpack the emotional “stuff” you’ve been carrying around — the heavy bits, the tangled bits, the things you shoved in a mental cupboard and hoped would organise themselves (they never do).
No judgment, no pressure, just space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface.

Stress has a habit of sneaking up on us and can often feel unbearably overwhelming.
Try these techniques to bring you back to the moment.

BREATHING
Close your eyes, inhale deeply for four counts, hold for four, and exhale slowly. Do this three times, and notice how your shoulders drop. That's your nervous system calming down.

MOVEMENT
Stretch your arms high, roll your neck, or walk around the room. Physical movement releases built-up tension that stress hides in your muscles.

GROUNDING
If your mind is buzzing, try a grounding exercise: name five things you see, four you can touch, three you hear, two you smell, and one you taste. Suddenly, you're back in the present moment.

Stress doesn't disappear forever , but in just a few minutes, you can give yourself the gift of calm.☺️

TRUTH:
Therapy can be for anyone at anytime.
It can be:
- Personal growth
- Learning Boundaries
- Understanding personal coping modes
- Relationship dynamics
- Processing and gaining awareness
- Just someone to talk to

Anything you want it to be.
