Hey, I'm Adam & I'm a qualified counsellor for adults & young adults. I specialise in Walk & Talk therapy, which is where we go outside to an area/place of your choice (I do have recommendations if need be as well), and we will have a gentle stroll & talk things through. I do also offer face to face sessions which is held in a peaceful and private room, as well as online via zoom or whatApp video call. Sometimes, something just isn't right, you don't need to have the answers or even be clear about what you need but you can tell me what's been happening & what's been on your mind and together we can figure it all out. Some people may find it difficult to sit still while trying to process their emotions, thoughts and feelings in a traditional therapy room. So, this is why for some people Walk & Talk therapy is maybe a more relaxed option. It is a talking therapy conducted outside whilst walking. Physical activity can help the client to relax & feel more comfortable. Making it easier to open up & share your thoughts and feelings. There are times in life when things can seem overwhelming - It can happen to any of us, at any time - Please don't feel like you're on your own, I am here for you. I offer different styles of counselling, depending on you & your needs. So this way you get a unique approach that works for you. Together we can make steps to positive changes that can help you feel & be more in control of your life - Built on a trusting & secure relationship with me, your counsellor. Stress has a habit of sneaking up on us and can often feel unbearably overwhelming.
Try these techniques to bring you back to the moment.

BREATHING
Close your eyes, inhale deeply for four counts, hold for four, and exhale slowly. Do this three times, and notice how your shoulders drop. That's your nervous system calming down.

MOVEMENT
Stretch your arms high, roll your neck, or walk around the room. Physical movement releases built-up tension that stress hides in your muscles.

GROUNDING
If your mind is buzzing, try a grounding exercise: name five things you see, four you can touch, three you hear, two you smell, and one you taste. Suddenly, you're back in the present moment.

Stress doesn't disappear forever , but in just a few minutes, you can give yourself the gift of calm.☺️

MYTH:
Therapy is only for people with mental health "problems" or those experiencing a crisis.

TRUTH:
Therapy can be for anyone at anytime.
It can be:
- Personal growth
- Learning Boundaries
- Understanding personal coping modes
- Relationship dynamics
- Processing and gaining awareness
- Just someone to talk to

Anything you want it to be.

That constant replaying, analysing, second-guessing? It’s exhausting.

Overthinking doesn’t lead to clarity — it often creates more confusion, stress, and self-doubt.
Sometimes, the most helpful thing you can do is pause, breathe, and choose not to spiral.

📌 Try this:

Write the thought down.

Ask: “Is this helpful, or am I just looping?”

Redirect with compassion, not criticism.

Sleep Better Tonight 😴✨

If you’re tossing and turning, try these simple sleeping strategies to help calm your body and mind:

🌙 Stick to a Routine
Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day — yes, even on weekends.

📱 Limit Screen Time Before Bed
Blue light from phones and TVs can confuse your internal clock. Aim to unplug an hour before sleep.

☕ Watch What You Eat & Drink
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and heavy meals late in the evening.

🧘 Wind Down with Relaxation
Gentle stretches, breathing exercises, or a warm bath can cue your body that it’s time to rest.

📖 Create a Sleep Sanctuary
Keep your bedroom cool, dark, quiet, and comfortable. Think of it as your personal sleep haven.

For too long, seeking support has been seen as a weakness.
But the truth? Asking for help is a brave act of strength.
