🌞 The Summer Holidays Are Almost Here! 🌞
The summer break is a valuable time for students to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with family and friends. However, it can also bring changes to routine, with more unstructured time and increased independence, both on and offline.
The end of term is often a flurry of activity, leaving many students feeling a mix of excitement, uncertainty, or even anxiety. It’s important that children get plenty of rest over the holidays and feel able to talk openly about how they’re feeling. Encourage your child to maintain a routine, keep active, and spend time doing things they enjoy.
If you have any concerns about your child’s mental health or emotional wellbeing, helpful advice and guidance can be found on the NHS website and YoungMinds 👉 www.youngminds.org.uk
Many young people also spend more time online during the holidays. While the internet offers great opportunities for learning, creativity, and connection, it brings potential risks too. One area of growing concern is online ‘challenges’. Some may appear harmless but can carry emotional pressure, risky behaviours, or hidden dangers.
Please encourage your child to talk about the content they engage with online, and remind them that not all trends or challenges are safe or appropriate.

✨ Wishing all our students and families a safe, restful, and happy summer break. ✨
