Austen Allen Homecare, an award-winning home care organisation, is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Care Staff to join our growing team.
We proudly provide care services across Kent and Southeast London, working in partnership with Bexley Council, Kent County Council, Medway Council, and the NHS.
💙 About the Role
You will provide person-centred care within the community, supporting individuals to remain independent in their own homes while making a real difference to their daily lives.
Duties may include:
• Personal care
• Domestic duties
• Meal preparation
• Medication administration
• Companionship and support
✅ What We’re Looking For
• Caring and reliable individuals
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
• Availability to work alternate weekends
✨ What We Offer
• Up to £13.21 per hour
• Full induction training including the Care Certificate
• Career progression opportunities and apprenticeships (Level 2 & 3)

• Bank holiday pay or days in lieu

✨ What a day at the Care Show!

Yesterday, our CEO, Nina Allen, had the wonderful opportunity to be a guest speaker at the Care Show in Birmingham, discussing the funding challenges and opportunities for tech innovation in social care.

It was a fantastic platform to share the real-world challenges from a social care, SME and startup perspective, and she hopes she was able to spark a few ideas 💡 about how we can make innovation more accessible and impactful across the sector.

Nina would like to say a huge thank you to the brilliant senior executives at Access Care Management - Anisa Byrne, James Maynard, and Daniel Casson💚 — for facilitating such an insightful session, and to her fellow panel guests Trudie Fell and Kristoffer Kenttä for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.

The transformation is a testament to the dedication, care, and attention of our amazing carers. Working closely with the Lymphedema Clinic and Wound Clinic, our team provides consistent, compassionate support to help improve this condition — and the results are outstanding!

We’re thrilled to share that our client has now been discharged from the Lymphedema Clinic and is enjoying greater independence, getting out and about again. 🌷

We couldn’t be prouder of our team and the difference they continue to make every day. 👏 Well done to everyone involved — another life changed for the better! 💫

We’re proud to share that Austen Allen Homecare’s CEO, Nina Allen, was recently interviewed by ITV News Meridian to shed light on the consequences of the latest budget on both our organisation and the wider social care sector.

She was joined by one of our wonderful service users, Keith, and his lovely wife, Sue, along with Karen and Georgie, two of our fantastic carers, to help raise awareness and highlight both the impact on those receiving care and the dedicated professionals delivering it.
