💙 A message to our patients 💙
It is with regret that we once again need to share this message.
🗣️ Recently, there has been an increase in incidents where members of our team have been subjected to some verbal abuse. Our staff work under significant pressure every day and, like everyone else, they are not immune to the impact of this behaviour.
🏥 We completely understand that navigating local healthcare services, pathways and options can sometimes feel confusing or frustrating – particularly at a time when the hospital has also transitioned to a new clinical system (EPIC). Please be assured that our team will always work with you to help guide you to the most appropriate care/service for your needs.
🤝 We aim to treat everyone with kindness, respect and understanding, and we remain committed to supporting each patient as best we can within the services available locally.
🚫 However, we must remind patients that our Practice operates in line with NHS England’s zero tolerance policy. We kindly but firmly ask that all interactions with our staff remain respectful, and that verbal abuse is not directed towards them.
🙏 Thank you for your understanding, kindness and continued support.
