The 3 Towers Challenge = A True Lancashire Adventure with KPH Community ✨🥾
Take on a 25-mile (40km) guided hike across the breathtaking West Pennine Moors, as we complete the iconic Three Towers Challenge. Starting at Jubilee Tower in Darwen, we’ll make our way to Rivington Pike, before finishing at the historic Peel Tower on Holcombe Moor.
This one-day route showcases the best of East Lancashire’s landscapes from sweeping moorland and peaceful woodlands to rolling valleys and hidden trails. With an elevation gain of around 3,775ft this challenge delivers a full day of scenic variety, natural beauty, and physical achievement.
Expect:
• Moorland paths, country lanes, woodland trails, and the occasional boggy stretch
• Stunning panoramic views and proper Northern charm

This is a full-day challenge, with 12+ hours on foot, so a good base level of fitness is essential.

Once the group is confirmed, we’ll create a WhatsApp chat to organise transport back to Darwen after the finish. It’ll also be a great space to stay connected, share training updates, and keep each other motivated as we get the miles in and build the buzz for the big day!
