Ever wondered how to achieve that 'lit-from-within' glow?

Skin boosters are your answer.

Skinboosters (also called injectable moisturisers) are injectable skin treatments which produce a refreshed, plumped yet natural and ‘not done’ look.

Products like Profhilo®, Redensity, and NCTF are not used to change the shape of your face, but are an excellent choice if you want to improve skin texture and deliver a huge dose of long-lasting hydration.

As we age, particularly after 30, the amount of collagen, fat and elastin in the skin decreases markedly. The result is a loss of volume, the appearance of fine lines and a general dulling of the skin.

Skinboosters treatments are the perfect rejuvenating treatment to combat these signs of skin ageing, hydrating the skin subdermally and improving it's overall health.

Primarily, they are used to treat the face, but it can also be used to rejuvenate the neck, décolletage, hands, arms and even knees!

Head to the link in bio to book your skinbooster appointment.

Have you experienced recent weight loss?

You may be feeling healthier and more confident, but have you noticed changes in your skin?

Significant or rapid weight loss can impact facial structure and glow. As fat volume reduces, collagen support can also decline, leading to:

• Reduced firmness
• Hollowing or volume loss
• Skin laxity
• Dullness or loss of radiance

In 1999, SCULPTRA® became the first & original Biostimulator. With 27 years of clinical use and an unmatched proven safety profile and efficacy, Sculptra remains the gold standard in regenerative aesthetics.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sculptra® works by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen production. This gradual regenerative process helps to restore structure and firmness, creating a refreshed, radiant appearance with results that can last more than 2 years following a full treatment protocol.

I have been using Sculptra® within the NHS since 2017 as part of a specialist nurse-led service, and I continue to use it in private practice because of its strong evidence base, longevity, and safety profile when administered appropriately.

Safety Information. Sculptra®:

✅ Contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable substance
✅ Has extensive long-term clinical data in both medical and aesthetic settings
✅ Requires a full medical consultation to assess suitability
✅ Is performed as a course of treatments for optimal outcomes

Possible side effects may include temporary swelling, tenderness & bruising. Following correct injection technique and aftercare guidance is essential to minimise risk.

Results develop gradually over several weeks as collagen is restored, this is regeneration, not an instant filler effect.

If you’ve noticed facial changes following recent weight loss and would prefer a regenerative, longer-term approach, Sculptra® may be worth considering.

Sustainable outcomes in aesthetics are achieved through experience, anatomy knowledge, and evidence-based decision making. Book a consultation to explore whether treatment with Sculptra is appropriate for you.

✨ International Women’s Day 2026 ✨

Theme: When we give, we gain.

This year’s campaign reminds us that generosity isn’t a loss, it’s powerful multiplication.

When we give our time, knowledge, mentorship, visibility, resources or advocacy… we create opportunity.

When we collaborate instead of compete… we build stronger networks.

When we actively support women… we raise the standard for everyone.

Giving fuels confidence.
Giving builds leadership.
Giving drives equality.

And when women thrive, we ALL rise.

As a woman in healthcare and aesthetics, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful support, education and collaboration can be. Every time we share experience, uplift another woman, recommend a colleague, mentor, or open a door, we move closer to gender equality.

So today I’m reflecting on this:

✨ What can I give?
✨ Who can I support?
✨ How can I create space for another woman to grow?

Because equality isn’t a competition. It’s a collective effort.

💚 What will YOU Give to Gain gender equality?

If you’ve ever tried adding a new product to your skincare routine, only to ditch it after a few uses because it didn’t work...this is for you.

Skin is made from multiple layers.

The uppermost layers are dead, pretty impermeable, damaged, dull and crusty.

The lowest layers are the fresh, new skin cells.

As the the top cells are removed, the cells from beneath replace them. And as they work their way from the bottom to the top, they accumulate damage (from UV and the environment) meaning that when they get to the top, they often aren't as fresh, smooth and bouncy as we'd like!

A great skincare routine works because it targets cells in each of the layers with the correct active ingredients, concentrations and formulations.

From exfoliants that help slough off the top layer, SPF that protects the newly revealed skin, antioxidants that help protect the top and middle layers, to retinoids that stimulate cell proliferation in the deeper layers. Each product has a specific purpose.

And of course, these changes don't happen overnight, and they certainly don't happen if you're inconsistent.

Real improvements to your skin are only realised if you're using the correct products for your skin and budget, consistently and correctly, over a sustained period of time.

When “Just a Cold” Isn’t Just a Cold....

This week I was reminded how important medical disclosure is before any aesthetic treatment.

A patient’s relative (image shared with full permission) recently experienced severe oedema following lip augmentation, with another practitioner.

She had:

✔️ Previous lip filler with no complications
✔️ A reputable practitioner
✔️ High-quality product
✔️ Appropriate management when the reaction occurred

So what changed?

She had been unwell in the days leading up to her appointment, but hadn’t mentioned it.

Even something that feels minor (viral illness, cold, flu-like symptoms, active infection, dental pain, cold sores, recent antibiotics) can significantly heighten your immune response.

Dermal fillers are medical devices. Your immune system doesn’t always differentiate between “good quality product” and “threat”, especially when already activated.

When your body is fighting something:

* Inflammatory pathways are upregulated
* Immune response is heightened
* Risk of exaggerated swelling or inflammatory reactions increases

Thankfully, this was recognised and managed appropriately, and symptoms resolved.

But it’s an important reminder:

✨ If you are unwell — reschedule.
✨ If anything has changed medically — disclose it.
✨ If you’ve started new medication — tell your practitioner.
✨ If you feel “run down” — say so.

Rescheduling is not an inconvenience. It’s risk reduction.

As practitioners, we rely on honest, up-to-date health information to keep treatments safe.

Aesthetic medicine is still medicine.

Your safety will always be more important than keeping an appointment.

If you’re ever unsure whether you should proceed with treatment, message your practitioner first.

Behind every treatment is a process ✨

From your first consultation to treatment day, everything we do is intentional, personalised, and clinically guided.

This includes detailed consultations, tailored treatment planning, and clinical photography to accurately track your progress over time.

Why does this matter?

Because real results are built on assessment, safety, and evidence, not quick decisions.

📸 Clinical photography allows us to:

• Objectively monitor changes
• Make informed adjustments
• Maintain high professional standards
• Show you progress you may not notice day-to-day

You’re never “just booked in” for a treatment here.

You’re assessed. Planned. Reviewed. Treated with purpose 💚

If you’re ready for a thoughtful, personalised approach to your skin, the conversation starts with a consultation.
