Today, we’re celebrating two years of beauty, laughter, and unforgettable moments at SELF!

Ummm, what! 🤯 I can’t believe SELF turns two today and how fast those years have flown by. It’s so easy to get lost in the day-to-day busy-ness of running a business, but big moments like this make you stop, reflect and soak it all in. Having been a beauty therapist for over 10 years, starting from a spare bedroom to renting a room to opening my salon still feels like a dream to me. WOW, what a ride it has been🤭

As I reflect on this journey, I’m filled with gratitude for the growth we’ve experienced. Personally, the past two years have been full of learning, growing and working hard. I can honestly say I’ve truly pushed myself to limits I never knew I could. Building a business is a rollercoaster ride!🎢 It comes with its fair share of stress and pressures, and every day is a learning curve, but I’m embracing every moment of it.

Last year in August 2024, I expanded the size of the salon to bring you two beautiful new treatment rooms as well as welcome my first team member.
It took months of transforming and renovating the new space – a task that wasn’t easy – but the joy of crafting the perfect little haven for all of you made it so worthwhile. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without the endless support from my family, who always go above and beyond for me! Thank you for putting up with ‘Little Miss Bossy Boots’ and giving up your spare time to help.

Rosie, I just wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you for all your hard work and dedication which doesn’t go unnoticed! Your positivity, attention to detail, and all-around fabulous energy shine through and I couldn’t imagine not having you by my side. You’re truly appreciated more than words can say!✨

THANK YOU to all of you who choose SELF; you’re such an incredible part of our story. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for continuing to stay faithful to my small business, for trusting us and for the love and support which makes this space so special 🥺.
