Pam, one of our regular patients, is very active in her allotment. Recently she brought me a lovely bag of delicious cooking apples. Previously, I've been gifted a delicious jar of her homemade jam too.

So seeing as it's the season of blackberries, on a recent walk after I'd eaten my packed lunch I just had to forage a container full of juicy blackberries and tonight I got around to making apple and blackberry crumble.

Bags of apples are not compulsory payment but oohhhh they're good!!! Thank you Pam.

I'd like to introduce Emma Clark who will be working alongside Hilary at our Darwen Podiatry practice.

Emma has had over 27 years in the NHS but has recently realised a better work life balance will allow her to hillwalk and travel more.

Emma will be accepting new patients on Thursdays and Fridays. Hilary will continue with all existing patients Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
