OsteoscanUK Announces Collaboration with Cal-C-Health Group to expand REMS services in the UK and Ireland

OsteoscanUK Ltd is proud to announce its collaboration with Cal-C-Health Group and the International Institute for Musculoskeletal Health Education to deliver an enhanced programme of clinics throughout the UK and Ireland.

Founding members of the International Institute for Musculoskeletal Health Education, Nick Birch, consultant spine and bone health specialist and director of OsteoscanUK and Alison Millichip, CEO of the Cal-C-Health Group, will jointly offer REMS clinics at established OsteoscanUK venues https://www.osteoscanuk.com/clinic-locations

Alison runs an established REMS clinic in Hereford, having completed core and advanced training with Nick between 2023 and 2025. Through the collaboration, Alison will continue to expand her REMS practice in Hereford and across the UK.
The International Institute for Musculoskeletal Health Education (IIMHE) has been created to meet the growing demand for REMS scans by offering structured, consultant-led training and advanced certification.
Its members are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and professional standards required to provide accurate and effective bone health evaluations.

*** Exeter/SW England 2026 ***
The December 2025 clinic will be held in Exeter but in 2026 the SW England clinic will move to Plymouth.

The new location/hotel we are using is:

If you have already booked with us for a 2026 Exeter clinic, your appointment time and date remains unchanged, just the venue. I have inidividually emailed all of you who have already booked with this information.

We do apologise if this less convenient to some of you and if you wish a refund we will, of course, give you a full refund of your monies paid.

So to recap - Dec 2025 clinic is still in Exeter; 2026 clinics now in Plymouth

Scan Clinic Northern Ireland May 2026

Please note, we are changing the venue for the May 2026 N Ireland scan clinic to make it more accessible for our clients in the Republic of Ireland.

This year's clinic was in Belfast; the new venue for the May 2026 clinics will now be the Canal Court Hotel in Newry (BT35 8HF)

(PS I have sent individual emails to all of you already booked into the Belfast with this change, hoping that you are OK with the move and, if not, we can issue refunds for you)

So if you're after a scan, you'll either need to book in with him at his full-time consulting rooms in Braunston (NN11 7JG). These are booked through his PA, Kathy on 07534 609934

If you're after a scan appointment with Nick this side of Christmas, there are only two regional clinics with any availability:
Crawley 25th Sept = 1 space
Henley on Thames: 6th Nov = 1 space

Otherwise you should think about coming to see him at his full-time consulting rooms outside Daventry (NN11 7JG) when he is two or three days a week so has good availability (book this through his PA, Kathy, on 07534 609934 as she holds his diary there, appts there are into Aug/September now)
