Bowen Technique
Bowen is a soft tissue remedial technique which may be effective to help relieve everyday stresses and revitalise the whole person. Each Bowen session varies according to the needs of the client, a sense of wellbeing may often be achieved, helping relaxation, aiding sleep. Helping to remove everyday stress and anxiety that can make us feel under-par, susceptible to illness or prevent us functioning at our optimum. Even though there is no force or manipulation, Bowen may benefit clients within a small number of sessions even for long-standing complaints, traumatic injury or chronic illness. Carole Justice Gray is the Chair of the Canine Bowen Technique Association (CBTA - www.cbta.org.uk) and authorised teacher of Canine Bowen Technique for EGCBT. She has been working as a Human Bowen Practitioner since 2009 in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire as well and then began working as a Canine Bowen Technique therapist travelling far afield working with dogs. In 2014 after working with and shadowing Sally & Ron Askew for two years in UK and Switzerland, Carole began running and teaching the established EGCBT Canine Bowen Technique self-Interest and practitioner course in the UK with fellow Canine Bowen Technique practitioner Eileen Smith.
