On Saturday 22nd June at 10.30am, you’ll be able to come and visit us at Fitter Body Ladies Daventry!
As a ladies (over 30) only gym we’re well versed with the challenges that come with our health, fitness and confidence as we typically put others first and we take a back seat. Come and chat to us about getting back into fitness after having children, the menopause and/or conditions which make weight loss virtually impossible! Trust me, we’ve heard it all!
At our open day, we will have one of our members Valerie McGurk signing copies of her new book “Thor” aimed at 6-8 year olds all about climate change. Why not come down and buy one and have a special message written by Valerie herself! It would make a lovely gift and even if your child isn’t old enough to read it themselves, it could become a cherished book you read to your child over the years with its own personal message from the author!
At the event, we’ll also be offering free blood pressure checks, free diabetes checks and cholesterol checks (these are £2 each) by a few of our members who are nurses!
Finally, not only will we have a bookstall and a tombola with lots of wonderful prizes donated by our members (funds to go towards our gym defibrillator), but several of our members will be showcasing their own businesses and what they have to offer (links to their socials below)!
