Today is my husband’s birthday, and I put together a reel of photos from the last 10 years (we’ve been together 30… that felt a bit ambitious 🤣).

What really hit me was how few photos I’m in. Before I took control of my weight and stopped yo-yo dieting, I was always behind the camera 😢

We’re both 63 now, and I regret the moments and memories I missed.

Today is my husband’s birthday, and I thought it would be lovely to put together a reel of photos of us from the last 10 years.
We’ve actually been together 30 years… but I thought that might be a step too far 🤣🤣

What really struck me while making it, though, was this:
before I finally took control of my weight and stopped the constant yo-yo dieting, I barely appeared in any photos. I was always the one behind the camera 😢

We’re both 63 now, and it makes me sad to think about how many moments and photo opportunities—with each other and with our family—I missed. 😒
